Since launching our scholarship program in 2022, Wicked Grounds has awarded over 1000 scholarship seats to our classes and workshops. Thanks to your generosity, we award scholarships on a no-questions-asked basis. It helps the attendees, and you. Better education fosters thoughtful consent cultures and stronger communities. Helping people learn to play, negotiate, and socialize safely truly helps everyone.
We're once again starting to give out scholarships that haven't been funded yet. The reasons why this is happening are understandable: we have a lot of folks facing economic insecurity and several of our community are federal workers facing job loss. While this is absolutely understandable, it isn't sustainable. While we promise to keep making scholarships available, we may need to start limiting these substantially. Requests are spiking, and funds are low. Several folks have responded to this month's Patreon membership drive by signing up for one of the scholarship levels. That helps! And: we need your help! If you would like to keep low- and no-income individuals able to access the vital education and community-building Wicked Grounds offers, please take a moment to contribute to the fund!
