Hello kinksters - We talk about Pride Month, but I’m really getting into it this year! Last weekend, I attended Pride celebrations in my very rural northern California town. There were several bands, lots of helpful support and information, and my town’s first ever – totally packed!!! – drag celebration in our downtown movie theater. It was a very long day (and night), and I left feeling very grateful for it. I love the huge celebrations we have in San Francisco, but there is something very tender and precious about seeing LGBTQIA+ folks of all ages making a party together in a zero-stoplight town. I do it all again in a couple of weeks! Wicked Grounds will be hosting a small information booth at the first ever Pride celebrations in Fort Bragg, one of the largest towns in coastal Mendocino county. If you’re in northern California (or just like taking long scenic drives), come up and support the event! And yes, of course, you’ll see us at SF Pride on June 28th and 29th. You’ll find us in The Root of Pride area, run by Folsom Street Events. We wouldn’t miss it for the world. But I’m getting ahead of myself! First, let’s take a look at what’s on the calendar for you. Join UK sex educator Sarah Butcher online at 11am Pacific for Wax Play 101, and learn all of the sensual, pleasurable, and sadomasochistic ways you can incorporate safe wax and candle play into your scenes.
